SmartCounter is a people-counting and visitor-analytics service for retail stores and malls. We count people entering and leaving through each entrance and present it in the SmartCounter Super App as hourly traffic, location comparisons, and other metrics you choose.

Retail chains, single stores that want to understand their visitors, and mall or commercial-property operators. Retail and mall needs differ, so we offer two separately designed solutions.

Traffic is the number of entries counted at an entrance. Visitors are validated visit sessions. Passers-by are people walking past the store. Comparing the three helps you judge storefront pull and visit patterns.

No. The entering rate compares people who came in with people who walked past. Sales conversion also needs your transaction (POS) data, through an integration we plan together.

That’s the first thing we check. During the survey we review camera position and angle, video quality, and access, then tell you which entrances can be counted with your cameras and which need an extra one. We don’t promise every camera will work.

Accuracy depends on each entrance — camera angle, lighting, and crowding. That’s why we don’t quote one number for every site. Before handover we compare SmartCounter’s counts with a reference count over an agreed period and share the result with you.

It depends on the number of locations and entrances, camera readiness, and network access on site. We give you a realistic schedule after the site survey, before you commit.

Site access for the survey, details of existing cameras or recorders (NVR), an internet connection on site, a simple floor plan, and one point of contact from your team. We go through the details in the first call.

No. The dashboard only shows aggregate numbers: how many people, when, and in which area. How video is processed and how long data is kept is agreed for each site before rollout.

Access to the SmartCounter Super App is set per user, role, and location. Each team member only sees the locations they are responsible for.

Data can be exported for internal reports. Integrations with other systems, such as sales (POS) data, are scoped and planned with your team.

Pricing depends on your number of entrances and locations and the plan you choose: Basic, Add-on, or Premium. We prepare a proposal after a short consultation.

Basic covers in-out traffic, events analytics, conversion rate, and customizable reporting. Add-on adds behaviour analytics: passers-by, dwell time, heatmaps, shopper journeys, gender and age profiles, and visitor traffic without staff. Premium combines every Basic and Add-on feature in one plan at 10% off.

Yes. You can start with one location on the Basic plan, then add the Add-on or expand to other branches when you’re ready.
